Greek On Wheels

Delicious meal! I had the souvlaki dinner and it was really good. I especially liked that they leave the skin on the Greek potatoes — gives them great texture and flavor — and that the Greek salad had nice, big chunks of fresh vegetables. My only regret was ordering through DoorDash. Unfortunately, you can’t track the driver when the restaurant uses their own delivery staff. I should’ve realized they handle their own deliveries (the “On Wheels” in their name should’ve been the giveaway!). Lesson learned — next time I’ll order directly from them and skip the middleman. The food itself was excellent, and now their menu has a permanent spot on my fridge for future orders!

I had a kind of lunch/early dinner with a friend of mine while in Ottawa in August. This location, actually called Prohibition Public House (not Greek on Wheels, which I think is the wrong tag for this place), was about a 10-minute walk out of the area where I was staying. It was worth the walk to explore a really nice patio, as you can see in my photo, and the actual house or building is really lovely and feels rich with history on the inside. Some interesting brews to be had, and a good menu including a brunch if you're there at the right time.

I have had other Greek on Wheels locations and this one was the best by far. It was delicious and worth it

I ordered via doordash unfortunately which is my only complaint. I hate that doordash doesn't let you track the driver when the restaurant uses their own delivery staff. I should've been smart enough to realize they do their own delivery as they have "on wheels' in their name. I could've saved myself from paying the middle man. The menu they gave me is on the fridge and I'll order direct next time.

The website was very clear about everything, when it calculated that delivery to where I was wasn't covered by standard fee's for how much I ordered it said to plase add a shocking 3 dollars more. I happily added the drinks I wanted but was skimping on to save money. The food arrived faster than the website said it would be, and tastes good so far. I plan on ordering again.

Order delivery from this location more times than I’d like to admit. One of the few places in Ottawa with super consistent delicious food. Please don’t change anything! Have a really good thing going on here.

So my sister asked my pregnant self I wanted to eat and I couldn’t decide so she chose for me- she came home with the most delicious ceasar chicken bacon wrap I have ever tasted. The bread was soft and warm, the chicken perfectly seasoned and tender and the bacon bits were warm and soft but crispy if that makes sense. I spent 5 minutes raving to her about how good it was, it was the best non home cooked meal I’ve had this year & I went to a 4* steakhouse two days ago… I felt like Keith Lee with every bite saying in my head “I rate this 10/10!” I rarely write reviews- nobody has time for that but I couldn’t not share my appreciation for the new best ever pregnancy craving. Yum!
